I had a decent stay at Lee Gardens Hotel. The location was fantastic as it's attached to a shopping mall and close to street food, making it perfect for exploring. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, as I found leftover items from the previous guests. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option, but I have a few reservations about the quality.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious but unfortunately not well cleaned. I found a hairband with hair left over from the previous guest, which was quite off-putting. Also, the furniture arrangement felt awkward with the TV positioned strangely.
Service

The staff were friendly and eager to help, which I appreciated. They made my experience a bit better despite the room issues.
Location

The location is ideal as it's right at the top of Lee Gardens Plaza, giving me access to various shops and markets. It’s a bit far from the night street market, but I found plenty of halal dining options nearby.
Dining

Breakfast included in the stay was just average; it didn't cater well to Western tastes. However, the proximity to local food stalls made up for it.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some facilities, but they felt a bit dated. The lift was inconvenient and smelled unpleasant, and I noticed that there was no iron or board available in the room.

My stay at Lee Gardens Hotel was a mixed bag. The location was excellent, right above a shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for food and shopping. However, I found the service at the front desk lacking, and the breakfast could use more variety for international tastes. Overall, the hotel meets basic needs but improvements can enhance the experience. 🏨✨

The room I stayed in was on the 25th floor and had a beautiful view of Hat Yai. It was clean and spacious, but the amenities were quite spartan—there was a kettle, but no cups or coffee provided.

While the staff were friendly, their limited English proficiency led to some miscommunication during my stay, which was a bit frustrating.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, situated right above Lee Gardens Plaza, which made it easy to access shops, halal restaurants, and other attractions around the city.

The breakfast buffet offered simple options and didn't cater well to European tastes, but it was nice that they avoided serving pork, accommodating different dietary needs.

I appreciated the swimming pool and gym facilities on the 12th floor, adding to the hotel’s appeal for fitness enthusiasts.

My stay at Lee Gardens Hotel was enjoyable overall, particularly due to its fantastic location right above a shopping mall (which made shopping so convenient). However, I did find the rooms to be a bit outdated in style. Breakfast provided was decent but not really catered for Western tastes. I appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room though.
Rooms

The rooms were large and clean, offering ample cupboard space, but they had an older, spartan feel. Although the beds were comfortable, the decor felt somewhat dated.

The staff were accommodating, and I found the convenience of taxi bookings for local tours to be a plus. However, some items were lacking in the room.

Breakfast was included and was reasonable, though it didn't cater to European tastes much. I ended up going to McDonald's on the second day for something more familiar.

While the facilities are satisfactory, I would have liked better WiFi coverage within the rooms to enhance the overall experience.

I found the Lee Gardens Hotel to be a decent choice for my stay in Hat Yai. The location was fantastic, right above a shopping mall, but I encountered a few issues that dampened my experience. While the room was spacious and provided basic amenities, the furnishings and decor were quite dated and uncomfortable. Overall, it was good value for money considering the circumstances.

My room was spacious, which worked well for my son. but the furniture arrangement was awkward. The shower head was too low, and I noted some peeling wallpaper. I really would have appreciated having more than one plug socket for charging devices.

The spacious room was unexpected, but I found it lacked proper cleaning. There was hair and a hairband left on the toilet table during my entire stay. Also, bedbug bites left me itchy, which is a serious concern.

The service from the housekeeping staff was daily, but it didn't seem thorough since cleanliness was an issue. The lifts had a funky smell, which was off-putting.

While the room was big, I expected better facilities. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and there was no iron and board available. The drinking water wasn’t safe to consume, which was disappointing.
